Physically present at UVU, greeted Charlie Kirk moments before his Sept 10, 2025 assassination. Gave interviews Sept 13-Oct 2, 2025 then largely stopped. Candace Owens (Ep. 245, Sept 29 2025) publicly accused him without evidence of being 'at the center of a plot to kill Kirk,' apparently triggered by Lyman not sharing his own event footage with her. Gov. Spencer Cox publicly rebutted same-day. Cox and Lyman are former primary rivals. Unverified/attributed claim ties Lyman to a meeting with Tim Ballard. FAMILYSEARCH VERIFIED LINEAGE (Aug 20, 2026): Direct descendant of Amasa Mason Lyman (KWJ8-467), LDS Apostle, Counselor in First Presidency to Joseph Smith, member of the Council of Fifty, excommunicated 1870 (Godbeites). Brief Life History on FamilySearch explicitly states 'member of the Council of Fifty.' Chain: Phil Lyman -> Francis Marion Lyman (1840-1916, KWCK-ZBD, LDS Apostle) -> Walter Clisbee Lyman (1863-1943, KWCH-QT6) -> Amasa Mason Lyman (1813-1877, KWJ8-467).
