Cult exit counselor and mental health professional. Former Unification Church (Moonies) member — recruited at 19 at Queens College. Developed the BITE model (Behavior, Information, Thought, Emotional control) for identifying coercive control. BITE model is a civilian taxonomy of cult mind control — parallels DOD Soar cognitive architecture (computational modeling of cognition) and CIA Gateway Process (consciousness/cognitive research). His firsthand experience inside the Unification Church provides primary-source testimony of how theocratic coercive control operates on individuals. AUTHOR of 'Combating Cult Mind Control' (1988), 'Freedom of Mind', and 'The Cult of Trump' (2019).
