Contradiction: TGC Academic Claim vs Financial Opacity

The Gospel Coalition (TGC) presents itself as peer-reviewed scholarship but operates as non-peer-reviewed political commentary. Zero financial transparency: operates under church tax status (no IRS Form 990 required), left the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). TGC presents academic credibility while functioning as a political messaging apparatus. Co-founded by Tim Keller and D.A. Carson. Current president Mark Vroegop. Columnist Trevin Wax also contributes to the Washington Post. Research_5/106.
