Bio Notes
Senator Frank Forrester Church III chaired the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Activities in 1975. The committee investigated CIA domestic operations including MKULTRA, COINTELPRO, and Project MOCKINGBIRD. The Frank Church Committee pattern is the containment mechanism: the system investigates itself through controlled mechanisms that appear to be accountability but function as containment. The investigation acknowledges the worst abuses publicly, a scapegoat is sacrificed, the broader network is protected, the system continues under new cover. The Frank root and the Church name converge in the man who chaired the investigation into the intelligence community. The Frank root is the same covenant marker traced through the Gillespie-Hickman line, the Frantzve compression, the Goetz parish records, the Blubaugh family root, the Franks surname that shielded Hickman's daughters.
