CIA officer, retired 1977. Named figure in the Project MOCKINGBIRD file (003). Published a Washington Times op-ed on February 22, 1985, publicly pushing Reagan's Contra aid and tying Nicaragua, Angola, and Afghanistan into one struggle. MOCKINGBIRD SCOPE AMENDMENT per Alexa's ruling: the 003 wiretap file is evidence of ONE operation, never a ceiling on the program's true scope or duration; absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Documented convergence with two other mechanisms in the same 1983-85 window: the Fort Huachuca-linked CIA Central America base (1983) and the narcotics study naming Colombia, Bolivia, Peru (1983).
