Shaffer is a 20-year Federal Bureau of Investigation veteran who founded Shaffer Security Group. The firm ran Charlie Kirk's protective detail from 2015 through 2022. The name Schafer Corporation, which appeared in earlier research, is a homophone and has been downgraded as noise. Schafer Security, as spoken in Candace Owens episode 303, resolves as Shaffer Security Group, a transcript spelling variant. Dan Flood and Brian Harpole both worked at Shaffer Security Group before the 2022-2023 breakoff.
