Her given name Effruzenia is a variant of Euphrosyne, the Greek grace of joy and mirth, and she carries Wilhelmina as her middle name, completing the two-generation carry from her Danish-born mother. Sister of Charles John Cal Zitting, whose line produced Charles F. Zitting, the Mormon fundamentalist polygamy leader.
