Bio Notes
Born January 9, 1840 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Danish convert who emigrated to Utah and married Carl August Zitting in 1863. Mother of Effruzenia Wilhelmina Zitting Winterrose and grandmother of Charles F. Zitting, the Mormon fundamentalist polygamy leader of the Council of Friends network. Carries the Wilhelmina name as the origin point of a two-generation carry, her daughter receiving it as a middle name. Alexa identified her on September 24, 2026 as the Sophia Wilhelmina from her earlier FamilySearch searching: the memory held Sophia Wilhelmina as a first name with a Zion-like sound attached, which matches the Zitting surname and her daughter Effruzenia. The match is memory-based and confirmed by Alexa as the strongest candidate; the FamilySearch profile itself has not yet been pulled. Sources: Find a Grave memorial 28166007, Geni, MyHeritage.
