Born 1817 in Virginia. FamilySearch ID LHHY-JDC. Married Lettice Hickman on October 5, 1838 in Randolph County, Missouri. Father of thirteen confirmed children including George Washington Matthews and Adrianna Matthews. Died September 21, 1888 in Los Angeles, though no primary source has been located for the death date. His FamilySearch profile carries the full Wild Bill Hickman ten-wives polygamy record, including the Mary Lucretia Horr sealing dated August 30, 1856 and the cancelled Minerva Wade sealing dated January 11, 1869.
