Born May 19, 1819 in Missouri. FamilySearch ID K1DT-HWD. Daughter of Edwin Temple Hickman (LLQZ-TVN) and Elizabeth Adams (LLQX-7Y8). Wild Bill Hickman is her brother. Married Presley Thomas Matthews on October 5, 1838 in Randolph County, Missouri. Mother of thirteen confirmed children. Died October 2, 1882 in Garnett, Kansas. MyHeritage trees had incorrectly copied Presley's September 21 1888 death date onto her profile, a copy error propagated across four duplicate trees maintained by PurdyJaniceRae1 (Janice Purdy). Her correct death date is October 2 1882 in Garnett KS. Her marriage to Presley connects the Matthews line to the Hickman covenant line.
